Terms of service

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms explain what you can expect from Resync and what we expect from you. They cover accounts, plans, model output, and the limits of our liability.

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your use of Resync, a chat product that routes your prompts to third-party language models. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Resync on behalf of a company, you confirm that you can bind that company to these terms.

2. Who can use Resync

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to use the service. If you are under 18 you need permission from a parent or guardian.

You may not use the service if you are barred from doing so under the laws of your country, or if we previously removed your account for breaking these terms.

3. Your account

You need an account to send messages. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account.

Keep your password private. We store only a hash of it, so we cannot recover it for you. If you think someone else has your password, reset it right away from the sign in dialog.

You can delete your account at any time from settings. Deletion removes your profile, your sessions, and your stored chats.

4. The service

Resync gives you one interface for many models. We may add, change, or remove models at any time. Some models come and go based on what the providers offer.

We work to keep the service online, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, provider outages, and rate limits can all affect availability.

5. Plans and limits

The free plan includes a monthly message allowance and a storage allowance. Pro plans raise those limits and unlock additional models.

Limits reset on the date shown in your billing settings. We may adjust limits with reasonable notice, and we will not reduce what you already paid for during a billing period.

6. Acceptable use

Use Resync lawfully. Do not use it to harm people or to break the law. In particular, do not:

  • generate content that sexualises minors, incites violence, or harasses a person or group
  • generate malware, phishing pages, or instructions for physical harm
  • attack the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or bypass rate limits
  • resell access or share one account across many unrelated users
  • upload content you do not have the right to share

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the messages, files, and other material you send. You grant us the licence we need to store that material, show it back to you, and forward it to the model you select.

You are responsible for your content. Do not send material that you are not allowed to send, including other people’s private data.

8. AI output

Model output can be wrong, incomplete, or biased. It is not professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions without checking with a qualified person.

You are responsible for what you do with model output, including anything you publish or send to another person.

9. Third-party models and tools

Prompts are processed by the provider of the model you pick. That provider has its own terms and privacy policy, and we cannot control how they handle a request once it leaves our systems.

Tools such as web search, maps, and calendar connect to external services. Results from those services belong to them and may carry their own licence terms.

10. Integrations

You can connect accounts such as Google Calendar. When you connect an account you authorise us to read the data the integration needs, and you can revoke that access at any time from the integration settings or from the provider itself.

Do not connect an account that you do not own or administer.

11. Intellectual property

The service itself, including the interface, brand, and code, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to our trademarks or branding.

Open-source components are covered by their own licences, which are listed in the repository.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts the service or other people at risk.

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from settings.

13. Disclaimers

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be free of errors, that model output will be accurate, or that files you upload will never be lost.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty pounds.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make a material change we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.

Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to sue where you live.

17. Contact

Questions about these terms go to [email protected]. We aim to reply within five working days.
